ever since i was young, i've played a lot of video games, my parents would leave us at the Quad (now park square 1) video arcade every weekend while waiting for them to finish work, we would be given P20 to be able to play all the games we want all day and including lunch. later on, when we got into PC's, we also played lots of games, but my brother and i are not really console gamers, the last console we had was the very popular red and white nintendo family computer(famicom) but i rarely every really finished games to the end, i'd just play till i get bored with it and then try something else.
lately, i've been planning for months to get a gaming console to prepare for the upcoming game from Lucasarts: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2008. so far, its been delayed.
due to this, i've been looking at different next-gen consoles to be able to maximize the capabilites when playing Force Unleashed. originally i'd been planning to get the Playstation 3 console with built in Blu-Ray drive, but there haven't been too many games or even Blu-Ray movies scheduled for release for the PS3. so, under the advice of some good friends who are also avid console gamers, i'd decided that the console i would get will be the Microsoft(yes, THE Microsoft) XBox 360 Elite, and as of 235pm on January 5, 2008, i am now a console gamer.
